Only the licensee has the option to expand an event name (i.e. TEDxExampleCity) into a series by applying for additional TEDx license types using the TEDxExampleCity name. In other words, you as the licensee could submit a salon application using the event name TEDxExampleCitySalon, or a youth application under the name TEDxYouth@ExampleCity, but your team member cannot apply to organize TEDxExampleCitySalon or TEDxYouth@ExampleCity.
While no one person can hold two different location-based licenses at the same time, you as the licensee can hold two or more different license types, as long as those licenses fall under the same location-name series. This applies to TEDx Salon, Youth, Women, and Live license types.
However, please note that in order to organize additional TEDxExampleCity event types, you must apply for and be approved for each of these individual licenses.
